TIMON® Control UnitTIMON® control units can be used anywhere on board to solve small control tasks in a simple and reliable way. The following examples show the various applications of our special control units. The TIMON® series 500 control is used to provide optimum control in our MICROCLEAR® heated glasses and thus prolongs the lifetime of the glass panes and whilst reducing electrical consumption. If several heated windows are controlled at the same time, the individual heating is switched on sequentially thus avoiding sudden power peaks. |

| This ensures better integration with the
other power consumers on board, and reduces overall consumption. The TIMON® series 500 control is used to control our SOLARDIM® windows. These panes have a simple on/off switch-function and can also be changed continuously from clear to opaque with a dimmer switch. TIMON® control units can also used for the control of bow thrusters, cranes and for temperature control. | |
