Online Control with TIMON® 122


On modern ships the monitoring and control is undertaken by integrated computer systems. These systems also need the details from the tank level gauging systems. Up to now the supply of this data was often made by many complicated industrial-bus-systems. Even with the electric interfaces such as RS485 and although the recorded data is averaged, the connection and display was not always smooth and accurate.

In order to offer a simple but reliable supply of the tank data , TILSE developed the new TIMON® 122 tank level controller.

The TIMON® 122 controller receives the measured data directly from the TIMON® transmitters, processes them internally with the programmed tank curves and transmits them to the network through the integrated web server via the Ethernet interface. You can recall the data with a Web-Browser and easily print the current tank levels.

For the integration and processing with other systems the data can be transmitted in a simplified ASCII format.
